PlateLabs LLC specializes in custom fiber-laser-engraved ASME Section VIII, Division 1 nameplates on 304/304L and 316/316L stainless steel. We serve ASME pressure vessel fabricators who need code-compliant nameplates engraved with their specific vessel data.

Every nameplate is custom-engraved with your vessel data — certified by, serial number, MAWP, MAWT, MDMT, and all fields you specify per UG-116 and UG-119. ASME certification marks, the NB symbol/number, and RT level are intentionally left blank so you can stamp them per code requirements. We also engrave your company logo in a dedicated 1" × 1" area.

Why Stainless Steel?

Our 304/304L and 316/316L stainless plates resist weld spatter, grinding dust, oils, solvents, and corrosive environments. Deep fiber laser engraving exceeds the ASME 0.10mm depth requirement, ensuring legibility for the full service life of the vessel.

Material Options

We stock 304/304L stainless for standard orders that ship in 3–5 days. For harsher environments, 316/316L stainless is available with a 3-week lead time and a $15 upcharge per plate.

Material Traceability

Every plate we produce can be traced back to its material heat number. Mill Test Reports (MTRs) are available upon request at no additional charge — because in code fabrication, documentation isn't optional.
